Toni has been licensed as a massage therapist for 12 years. She discovered that the profession resonated with her after attending a demonstration and talk at the children's group home where she worked. She saw how the power of touch through therapeutic massage could calm the frazzled nervous systems of young children and infants suffering from prenatal drug exposure, behavioral disorders and neurological disorders. She witnessed the therapeutic benefits to workers in high-stress, emotionally charged jobs.
Toni currently works with primarily with an adult population at Relaxation Station, providing relaxation therapies by appointment. Her availability is generally on Sunday, and on Monday evenings.
From a young age, Elias has studied various aspects of wellness including fitness, nutrition, Eastern and Western Herbalism, psychology and personal development. He began his career as a personal trainer in 2005 helping clients achieve their weight loss and fitness goals leading to healthier lifestyle choices, discipline, improved confidence and self-image. His career was sidelined for up to a year when he began experiencing unexplained bouts of vertigo and loss of balance. His intuitive hunch that it was structural in nature proved to be right after he found a Rolfer named Teresa who practiced at this very location, Relaxation Station. After a few sessions, balance was regained, vertigo disappeared and his life was back on track.
Fast forward several years, Elias is now practicing as a Certified Rolfer™. He graduated from the Rolf Institute® of Structural Integration in the picturesque wine region and university town of Stellenbosch, South Africa just outside of Cape Town. His work focuses on bringing the lasting relief he was once looking for to those suffering from chronic stress and pain, poor posture, physical trauma and repetitive strain injuries.
Elias welcomes inquiries and offers a complimentary 30-minute phone consultation to see if Rolfing® Structural Integration is a good fit for you. Call 773-627-2698 for a consultation or to book your appointment today. www.LimberRolfing.com.
